About me

I studied fashion and textiles for 5 years, gaining an HND in Fashion and Textiles from Gallowgate College and a BA(Hons) in Fashion Design from Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen. During these 5 years I have gained a varied spectrum of skills from illustration and textile manipulation to pattern cutting and garment construction.
Specializing in womenswear I have developed a passion for innovative and experimental construction which mixes conventional pattern cutting with an individual exploration of shape and space, achieved through manipulation of paper and working on the stand.
Now that I have finished my studies I am focusing on developing my technical skills through industry based projects and also working on my own design aesthetic, promoting myself as a fully fledged fashion designer.
I am currently designing and creating sample garments for a womenswear store in Scotland and also gaining some extra dressmaking experience altering and re-fashioning wedding dresses for clients.
